1997 was an awesome year. That’s when this 1958 @gibsoncustom Historic was made, with a heavily figured top in a faded out honey lemon burst. This is what they call the #GoodWood era for a reason. The #GibsonR8 models can sometimes be standouts but this one may be the best we’ve ever played. Just in the shop on trade, we’ve only got one… and tbh, I don’t think there’s another 90’s era Historic R8 for sale anywhere much less one that looks as good as this. Oh and the handwired BlockHead 18w Tremolo 2×12 also got here today as well. It’s awesome! ##
