RARE! Gibson USA made John Lee Hooker Epiphone 64’ limited edition reissue. Body made in the Japan custom shop and shipped to the USA for “USA made” assembly and lacquer finish, these guitars are insanely rare and represent the closest you can get to a real 64’ Sheraton aside going after an old one. This guitar is interesting as Gibson had extra bodies made for warranty service, and after a number of years they sold them as parts in the infamous “Gibson Garage Sale” 20 years ago. We had 3 of the “USA” Lennon Casino 65’ models this way. This John Lee Hooker model has been assembled with gibson USA parts, in chrome, a trapeze has been added then removed and a set of real vintage 60’s Mini Humbuckers found their way into the guitar. It’s a Boogie machine for 1/2 of what a mint one would be. We’ve only got one.
